CJR were engaged by the main electrical contractor, CV Services to provide preliminary switchboard designs, a power system study and protection system design for the electrical installation associated with the New Parallel Runway at Brisbane Airport.
Scope of Works included:
- Modelling of LV system using PowerTools for Windows
- Selection of protective devices and design of protection settings to AS/NZS 3000
- Cable selection to AS/NZS 3008.1.1
- Fault study
- Arc flash study
- Technical interface between Principal’s designer Jacobs and the switchboard builder
