ConsultJR acted as owner’s engineer for the installation and commissioning of IEC 61850-enabled ABB protection relays to the existing private HV network within Queensland Children’s Hospital. This was a challenging project for the contractor in a brownfield environment. CJR were responsible for ensuring the complete scope of works was correctly and fully implemented and tested by the contractor.
Scope of Works included:
- Review of detailed design documentation
- Development of factory and site acceptance test procedures
- Attendance at contractor Factory Acceptance Testing
- Attendance at contractor Site Acceptance Testing
- Provision of technical guidance to asset owner (QCH)
- Design of scope gap items.
